Hello Strays!

My name is Maggy and I live in Germany and I wanted to share my thoughts about books on this blog. I have been reading since I’m a kid and always loved it. Mostly I read fantasy books, but I’m not averse to science fiction or dystopias either. I’ve also been collecting manga for a few years. The main thing for me is that the book is well written and that the story and also the characters carry me away. My absolute favourite book is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and I think I will never read anything better.

When I’m not reading books, I love playing computer games. Above all, I play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which I have now played for over 1000 hours. I also like to play role-playing games or just Mario Kart on a Nintendo console.
Another favorite hobby is playing board games. You can get to know many beautiful worlds and also empathise with other characters or roles.

My three cats, which are Siberian Forest Cats, also keep me on my toes. Daily screaming about food has to be endured or even cuddling is time-consuming. You will certainly see them more often in my pictures.

This blog will mainly contain reviews of books. The preferred genres are fantasy, science fiction and dystopia. However, I am also always happy to engage with new worlds through recommendations from other readers.
